Buying a holiday home in Rhyl

Rhyl has been a favourite with North West families for generations, and it’s easy to see why. There’s a long sandy beach, a promenade that runs for miles, the SC2 waterpark, the Marine Lake and the harbour with its Pont y Ddraig bridge, all within a few minutes of each other. It’s a lively, sociable place that suits families and anyone who likes having plenty going on.

Our two Rhyl parks are close neighbours but feel quite different. Robin Hood is a busy holiday park with entertainment and facilities for all ages, while Terfyn Pella is owners-only, so it’s calmer and there are no holidaymakers coming and going. Both have a 10½ month season, with a good range of new and used static caravans for sale.

Why owners choose Rhyl

Rhyl is one of the easiest places on the coast to reach. The A55 is a few minutes away, which puts you roughly 40 minutes from Chester, an hour from Liverpool and around an hour and a half from Manchester, and the town has its own station on the North Wales Coast line.

It also makes a brilliant base for exploring. Prestatyn and its dunes are just along the coast, Rhuddlan Castle is a short drive inland, and Llandudno, Conwy and the edge of Eryri are all within about 40 minutes. On the days you’d rather stay put, the promenade, cafés and seafront are right there.

What it costs to own a caravan in Rhyl

Before you buy we’ll talk you through every cost so there are no surprises. Alongside the price of your holiday home you’ll have an annual pitch fee, which covers the running of the park and its facilities, plus utilities and insurance. The fee depends on the park and the pitch, so if you’ve got your eye on a particular spot, ask us for the exact figures.

Robin Hood and Terfyn Pella both have a 10½ month season, which gives you most of the year to enjoy your holiday home.
